SaltX is one of the most exiting energy startups in the world. Their energy storage patents could, if implemented, reduce carbon dioxide emissions across the globe radically. The only obstacle is lack of time and resources – SaltX needed more brilliant minds to work with the salt.
The first ever SaltX Hack sought to accelerate the clean energy storage takeover by providing an awesome incentive for engineers, entrepreneurs and creatives to start their own businesses based on the SaltX patents. The participants created and pitched ideas and business models – competing to be one of three teams to be awarded with initial financing, coaching and office space to launch their own startups based on the ideas developed in the SaltX Hack.
